Terms & Conditions for booking with Funky Sunflower

Stallholder Bookings: 

To secure your space at a show a deposit of 50% of the total balance is required within 5 days of the date of the invoice. 

This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to any other event.

The outstanding balance is due 2 weeks prior to the date of your event. Failure to pay by this date WILL incur a £25 late payment charge.

You WILL be liable to pay the outstanding balance if you decide to cancel within 14 days of the event date.

If you do not turn up on the day then you will be liable to pay the FULL amount and you could be liable for a late payment charge of £25.

Should you pay the full amount at the time of booking, NO refund shall be made should you decide to cancel at a later date.

Funky Sunflower reserves the right not to apply a cancellation fee in certain circumstances which will be agreed in writing at the time.

You must notify Funky Sunflower should you not be able to attend on the day – this must be done by phone. Cancelling by Facebook, Tweets, Texts or Emails won’t be accepted and you will still be charged.

Payment MUST be made prior to the date of the event – we will not accept payment on the day.

If payment is not received on time then your space will be removed and you will not be allowed to take part in the event - Funky Sunflower will not be liable for any expenses incurred in such circumstances.

Should the event be postponed by Funky Sunflower then you will be offered the opportunity to move your payment and join us at another event.

Should the event be cancelled by Funky Sunflower then a full refund will be made.

Funky Sunflower will NOT be held liable for any circumstances out of our control which result in postponement or cancellation. 

Venue Dressing Bookings: 

To secure a venue dressing booking with Funky Sunflower Events a deposit of 25% of the total balance is required within 5 days of the date of the invoice. 

This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other products and services.

The outstanding amount is due 4 weeks prior to the date of your event and failure to pay by this date WILL incur a further £50 late payment charge.

Refunds will not be given should you decide to pay the full balance earlier than 4 weeks before the wedding. A percentage MAY be refunded in extenuation circumstances – this is at Funky Sunflower’s discretion and relevant proof may be required in order for this to happen.

If the balance still remains unpaid 7 days before the event date, Funky Sunflower reserves the right to cancel your order and you will be liable for the full outstanding balance.

You will be liable to pay 50% of the outstanding balance if they cancel the event within 4 weeks of the event date and they will be liable for any out of pocket expenses incurred by Funky Sunflower Events.

You will be liable to pay 100% of the outstanding balance if they cancel the event within 2 weeks of the event date and they will be liable for any out of pocket expenses incurred by Funky Sunflower Events

Should an event be affected by something out of our control, such as weather, payment in full will still be required.

Additions can still be made to the order after the final balance request has been issued 4 week before the event date; however the numbers can NOT be reduced.

All bookings are subject to a refundable damage waiver which is charged at a flat rate of £50 - or £100 if it is a DIY hire booking. This fee will be refunded once all stock is returned or collected and checked for damage.

Any loss or damage that is incurred during the hire period will result in the loss of the security deposit and possible extra charges if the amount exceeds the £50.

The client is fully responsible for all stock for the duration of the hire period up until it is collected by Funky Sunflower.

 

Event & Conference Management:

To secure the services of Funky Sunflower, we require a deposit consisting of 50% of the total balance within 5 working days of the date of the invoice being issued.  

This deposit is non-refundable.

A further 25% becomes due 14 days before your event and the final 25% will be due no later than 5 working days after the event

Failure to pay by the deadlines WILL incur a further £100 late payment charge.

The client will be liable to pay 50% of the outstanding balance if they cancel the event within 4 weeks of the event date and they will be liable for any out of pocket expenses incurred by Funky Sunflower Events.

The client will be liable to pay 100% of the outstanding balance if they cancel the event within 2 weeks of the event date and they will be liable for any out of pocket expenses incurred by Funky Sunflower Events

Should the event be cancelled by Funky Sunflower then a full refund will be made.

Should an event be affected by something out of our control, such as weather, payment in full will still be required by the client. 

No work will be undertaken, unless agreed in writing, prior to the deposit being received.

The fee for your proposal will be waived as long as you book your event with Funky Sunflower.

Should you decide not to proceed with your booking then a charge of £100 will be made per proposal.

Cancellation must be mutually agreed in person – by either phone call or face to face with written confirmation provided within 2 days.

Funky Sunflower shall not be liable for, nor held accountable for any work or services provided by suppliers not booked or authorised by Funky Sunflower

 

Recommended Supplier:

The Event Stylist shall provide the following services (“Services”) to the Client in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement:

The Event Stylist will provide their venue dressing service for wedding and parties running at the above named venue on pre-agreed dates.

Should the Event Stylist not be able to provide the Services they will be responsible for providing an alternative offering the same quality and finish.

The Client must give adequate notice of all bookings and confirm via email all weddings and parties for which the Event Stylist will be contracted to work.

The Client will be responsible for stripping the room after an event and storing the stock in a safe place until collected at a pre-agreed date and time.

Payment in full will be required by the Client no later than 2 weeks before the event.

Failure by the Client to pay the balance within that time may result in the Event Stylist cancelling the booking

The Event Stylist assumes no liability due to the quality of items or services purchased by the Client.

If the Client terminates a booking for any reason within 7 days of the scheduled Event, the Client will be liable to reimburse the Event Stylist for any costs incurred.

Should the Event Stylist terminate this agreement within 7 days of the scheduled Event, the Event Stylist will be liable to find a suitable replacement of an equal standard.

The Client has a duty of care to the stock supplied by the Event Stylist and the Client will be liable to cover the costs of any damages or loss incurred while items are in their care.

These will be charged at cost rate and must be replaced like for like.

Any bookings taken before the Termination of this contract must still be honoured by both the Client and the Event Stylist unless agreed by mutual consent.
